(n.) Creating a job or job description so complex that others cannot possibly understand it, thus minimizing the risk of being micromanaged.

Acronymphomania

(n.) The unhealthy psychological compulsion, especially in large organizations, to reduce jargon to increasingly unintelligible first-letter pseudonyms.

"SNAFU, DOD, FBI, CIA, FUBAR... are these terms related? I think our government is suffering from acronymphomania."
